The Dynafold PF330 is a brand-new electronic setup folding machine that features automatic setup for letter and legal size paper (8.5” x 11”, and 8.5” x 14”), and is capable of handling up to 11" x 17" (also electronic setup, but not a preset choice).   In our opinion, this is the best value in automatic setup folding machines. 

In automatic mode (letter and legal size) you first select the paper you are using, either letter or legal size, and then select one of six standard folds, which include single (half), gate, letter (trifold), fold out, accordion, and double parallel.  You can customize the fold if you like, and create 4 custom folds that can be saved in memory.  Output is by conveyor with 2 rollers that provide for a uniform, aligned row of folded paper.

It has a dual counter. One displays the number of sheets folded until the reset button is pushed. The other shows the total number of folds performd on the machine to date. It features a three-roller friction feed system, 500 sheet  paper tray, variable speed of between 2400 to 6000 sheets per hour (single fold), and a skew correction adjustment.

Indicator lights on the panel show whether the fold plates are properly set, and whether there is a jam in either the feed tray or the output conveyor, making problems easy to detect.  (As an example, the indicator light in the picture shows that there is an error in the feed tray).

Preset choices are made by using the arrow keys right, left, up, down, to make the selection. Then you press the middle button. Your choice is saved and a sample is printed for your inspection. Custom folds and folds for other size paper are made in a similar way. Speed can be adjusted up or down.  Counter can be reset.
